Brian,
You are providing an awesome service by joining us here. I'm not even going to Alpine, but you are great. Any chance you can get Charlotte's people on-line?

Cheesehead, My wife and I walked through knee-deep snow to stand in line and bought 8 each for Charlotte. Considering she is GIVING 6 of those to her boss, boss's husband, boss's grandson, and a couple close friends who could not be in line, I would say that was far from being greedy. If you are won...

At this time the comic strip Non-sequitor: http://www.ucomics.com/nonsequitur/ is running a funny take-off called Clean Channel who is making the radio news reporter only report what they accept as news. Look back over the past few days and you can see why owning everything is not always good for ev...

J, as Spinal Tap would say "Crank it up to 11!"
Then again, if you have the "CD shuffle" on with his other albums, that could cause the neighbors to complain.

Or if you did get to see him in the 70's (like me) it helps you remember. If you miss Fingers Taylor, you will never tire of Dixie Diner.

I believe this is JB in his prime. It rocks at parts and the second CD starts out with the "original Coral Reefer Band" (Jimmy and a guitar). Cut my parrot head teeth on that album. Also, you get to hear HIM sing the songs, before everyone knew the words, and there is no SALT, SALT, SALT (...

It's a great album! The greatest version of God's Own Drunk.
Amazon has it for around $17 used. Ebay has one right now for $12.50.

Whew, what a thread! If I made $25.8 million last year, you wouldn't see, hear or even hear rumors about me for years! We need to be thankful that he tours at all. This year I am blessed to have him in my home town, but that is not always the case. Last year he didn't play here but I caught Columbia...

What I find most amusing about eBay and concert tickets is that disclaimer: "Because of state laws, if you are a resident of [your state here] your bid cannot exceed $49603 per ticket." Why bother?

PHinhead, I hate to say it, but the line is "listenin' to Murphy, Walker and Willis..." So now you have to figure out who Willis is, too.

It's very sporadic. I tried about 20 minutes ago for 2 then 1, none available. Just went again now, nada. Going to try one more time... nope. Must be some people's credit cards are being refused and a couple tickets at a time are being rereleased.
