If each stadium seats min 50,000 and he plays 14 shows, that's 700,000 tickets sold. And many of those stadiums seat way more than 50,000. If tickets average $75 each times 700,000, that's over $50,000,000, even before t shirt sales. You may not like his music, but I can see why he has a house on St...

Kind of doubt there will be a DVD. The Hong Kong concert looks like it's going to be in a gymnasium with tables. Not the same setting as Anguilla...

Still wish I was going to HK, though.

So, is anyone actually going?

If Jimmy sticks to the SYKBH songs, I'll be OK with wussing out on the 24 hour flight. If he plays a lot of gems, I will be extra bummed.

Thanks, everyone. I'm looking forward to trying a real cheesesteak. Hopefully the weather will be not horrible! Wish the deposition was in the spring as I've always wanted to fish the famous shad run on the Delaware. Oh well, I'll gladly settle for a cheesesteak or a trip to the Hooters in Cherry H...

$1,200 to see Jimmy do a handful of songs? Maybe.... :o Save your money and wait for an event like the Anguilla or Paris shows where he does an entire concert. Anguilla was too big for him to do a "meet and greet" (other than for a very lucky few who got to see the Friday "beach band&...

SD looked weak at home last night, even with the 4th quarter rally.

Indy has been sitting back ignored by the world as it pays attention to Brady and Moss. Indy will use the game to make a statement.

It's Seattle type weather here along the shores of Lake Michigan right now. High 50's and rainy. This weather of course will pass in a few days. I am guessing next weekend will be our usual mid January weather - 20's and howling wind. The Seahawks stand little chance even with good weather. If we ge...

If Jimmy plays a Chicago stadium, I'd guess Soldier Field. Absolutely no neighborhood issues and way more seats than Wrigley. He can stay right on Michigan Avenue (Maybe the Four Seasons?) and be 5 minutes from the venue/rehearsals while having a ton of stuff to do. It seats 80,000 plus, doesn't it?...

http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/election/iowa-newhampshire/iowa-past.html This site is interesting in showing who has won Iowa through the 1996 Caucus in some instances did not end up with the nomination. Skibo,

You're wrong. The Civil Rights Acts of the mid '60s which ended segregation were violently opposed by Republicans - including the GOP's presidential candidate at the time, Goldwater.

Biden runs for President every election. After he lost the nomination in '88 to Dukakis (due in part to allegations that Biden plagiarized his way through Syracuse Law, which Biden in part admitted) Biden has kind of been like background noise. He runs but without a serious chance of winning the nom...
