Mom is hanging in there. Most of the week she was in her bed sleeping all day and barely moving. She ate just a few bites and drank very little. Saturday and Sunday she was in her hospital bed that is in the living room, setting up and very alert, even eating and drinking some. Yesterday when I was...

About ten years ago we had Wacow's here in Waco, Texas.
Our next door neighbor has one of them in their front yard now.

This morning we could smell the smoke from a fire that broke out about 20 miles north of us, burning over 250 acres. It is about 80% contained at this time. I cannot imagine what it is like for those near the Bastrop area. I am praying for the victims, firefighters, volunteers, etc. and also hoping ...

Someday I will .... This is the year you and Danny need to come north :) I wish .... just got home from visiting my daughter in NJ and I can't take any more vaca right now ... but DEFINITELY on our "to do list!" Planned it several years ago but somehow ended up at the Chicago show instead...
