One of my favorites, Widespread Panic, does their own advance mail order. This helps to ensure that at least some of their loyal fan base, not the scalpers, end up with tix. Wish more would offer that option.

I tried to pick up 2 tix for Charlotte this morning. Had 2 8th row seats brought back, elected to purchase them, but it told me I had taken too long and that the tickets had been released. The thing is, I replied within under a minute (I was getting my CC out). :cry: So I search again and it brings ...

So, I'm logged into my TM account at 9:45 this morning to get tickets for Charlotte. I refresh the browser until I see they are available. I search for 2 tickets, best available. It brings back 8th row seats and tells me that they will be held for 2 minutes and then be realeased if I don't buy them....

Thanks for the replies folks. I used to have good connections with a few other groups and have been spoiled with good seats and passes to their shows. Just wish that was the case with JB.I'll probably get online at home. If it doesn't work out then I'll be shelling out $ to a scalper.... BUFFETT OR ...

Planning on buying tix for the Charlotte show. Any tips on getting good tickets for the show? It's been a while since I've had the extreme pleasure of going through good ole TicketMaster. Is it best to buy online, call in or actually go to a TicketMaster window/agent/store? Is there any actual hopes...
