Anything above 65 is being outside in the sun weather...with plenty of sun screen. I don't lay out in the sun no matter what the tempature.
I just hate the idea of wrinkles.

I have a theory that it's because a lot of folks aren't that secure in their beliefs, so when challenged, they get defensive. This may be part of it...but only for the groups that are not used to being questioned. For the other side, it's not that aren't secure in their beliefs, they are just sick ...

but hell...if people can save 20 cents on a jar of pickles....what does it matter. It matters when it's a matter between losing your house and starving and having a roof over your head and food on the table. How does buying sub par food and second rate household items (that cost more in the long ru...

:( is the logo for the small, local businesses that are driven out of business when Wal Mart comes to town. Wal Mart, in my opinion, is awful...Awful products, awful atmosphere and awful results on the local economy. But, hey if we save a buck or two, while Wal Mart tries to monopolize our communit...

No one is taken you to task for what you are teaching your own children....just what you expect of others. Oh, and it's Wiccan....not Wickan and Catholics are Christian. Hard to have others believe that you really have respect if you can't even get the basics right. Again, you haven't answered the q...

I don't think that she was insinuating that non-Christians commit all the crimes, just simply describing one of the benefits of small town life. In any other thread, or at any other time, I would agree. there are benefits to living in small towns.....it has nothing to do with religion however. Plen...

Oddly enough, I was raised in a HUGE city where it was against the school board rules to have any form of prayer. How horrid. A city that acknowledges that someone other then Christians live there. No wonder you moved. So, we moved. That was not the reason for the move but it sure was nice. Yes, I ...

This may not be the norm everywhere. Heck, it may only be common here in my tiny town but the young people (say 12 to 17 years old) that are involved in Church, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts (Note, BOTH are based on God) No, Girl Scouts are a secular organization that allows all girls to join. Boy Scouts...

Soraya, Okies well enough, with all you posted earlier about not being able to prove a negative. Why is up to every Christian to prove their belief, that is a God and see his works everywher If you've been actually reading what I've said, you'd notice that I have said at least twice that a person o...

Gosh, all I did was state MY opinion. That IS what Brad wanted. I don't think the problem is that you stated your opinion, but your intial post came across as you were saying that those that did not do as you, share your faith, do not have any morality. You may have not meant this, but as you know,...

I understand where you are coming from, but I still see atheism is a belief system. Here's why, an atheist says that God does not exist, now there is no proof that God does not exist and therefore it is a belief not a fact. It is a basic tenant of logic that you can not prove a negative. It would n...

another fundamental definition for religion is a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith. I would say the both the belief and the unbelief in a diety requires faith. Very standard theist view...but no, not believeing in something that can not be proven (and for those tha...

Re: Your last show
Who did I insult with that statement??? Insult may be a bit harsh for your post precisely....I am simply pointing out that your post, with the 'maybe you don't get it' comment and that line quoted, does come across as it being an either/or opinion to the price of tickets this year. It just isn't. T...

. When I can take the same money and go on a Windjammer Cruise for a week or perhaps save it towards another boat..or go to the Islands for a week or whatever else I may decide to do with it. It is MY money I guess the part that I dislike about these threads (how many of them now?) are that it seem...

I don't know about Feliway...but I've had friends use Bach's Rescue Remedy to keep the kitties calm while they get used to each other.

Re: don't push that button
Years ago when I first came across that site, late one night, I pressed the button.PHAW Webmistress wrote:http://www.kontrabandcontent.co.uk/1/gr ... Button.swf
My husband, who has been sound asleep, woke up and ran to the both room to vomit.
I've never pressed the button since!
