I first saw this thread and said, OMG, there's going to be quite the controversey. Discussions of religion tend to do that. You know what? I was right, but I'm impressed with the respect that most have given to others views, and that it's not just the "Bible Thumper" crowd. Before I starte...

Re: Tivo guilt

I love my dvr but i'm recording alot of stuff. I"m so behind and it's once again 90% full. Yesterday I caught up on 4 episodes of 24, wow. Edgar's dead. Tonight i'll do a lost marathon. Does anybody else get their dvr boxes full. Just got back from Vacation, both the Tivo and the cable company...

Re: Finding My Own Personal Margaritaville

So... where is your own personal Margaritaville? Welcome! I wake up dreading on heading into work, and feel like my life is out of "Office Space". Oh, I wish I could speak so highly of my job (I'm an IT boss too). Yeah... I'm gonna need you to go ahead and come into work this weekend... M...

Back in his prime, I really idolized Pete Rose. I loved baseball, and was a Cincy fan. I had one of those plastic fake batting helmets, and wore it everywhere. I am pretty sure that I don't gamble (I'm not anti-gamble, I just don't do it myself) because of his situation, which crushed me at the time...

Life is just a tire swing...

Anyone know what the mile marker for the rope swing is coming off Key West? Also, anyone know if it is still there? I've got a 13 year old dying to go there, and it'll make a nice distraction when we leave the CR. Sounds like general questions that nobody will know, but, trust me, anyone who's been ...

We will be there. The missus and I have lawn seats and we're bringing a couple of friends with us. Question about parking: If we want to get out of the parking area early, does it make sense to be one of the last ones in? Or should we get there early (my favorite time of day :D ) and take our chanc...

I would imagine actual ticketmaster tickets would be pretty hard to counterfit. I don't think I've personally ever heard of that issue. Now the self-printed tickets? That would be a different matter.

Got my Alpine and Chicago tickets. However I didn't get my Indy tickets. All my lawn tickets for Indy and Cincy showed up, but I have not gotten my Pavillion tickets to Indy, nor did my Null Section tickets for Cincy, though the later may have come in an invisible envelope that I may have missed in...

Lovely wife and I saw Yours Mine and Oursa couple of weeks ago at the dollar theatre. Good movie, it's defiently a renter, if not one to purchase. I don't know that it'd be worth full price, plus jumbo popcorn and cokes and candy good, but it's worth the cost of a DVD.

Depends on who you ask. If you ask TLW (the lovely wife) she'll tell you no way in hell. She said the same thing last year, but she didn't follow through. We have friends in Manassas that live close enough to hear the concert from their deck, and they have a corporate box. Last 3 years or so, we've ...
