We ae renting on Block Island in August. 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage about 1/2 mile from the beach (nothing fancy) $2800.

I think you will love Caneel. I am very jealous! Some of the most beautiful beaches and water I have ever seen. One of the restaurants (I think it was the Turtle Bay House) was very "stuffy" but the Equator was perfect. If you plan on eating there often I definitely recommend a meal plan.
