Thanks to all who served, and who ARE serving. The nine years I spent on active duty (1970-1979) and the 15 years in the reserves (1979-1994) brought me some of the greatest experiences of my life. It was an honor to serve this great country, and now, what the hell-I'm an old fart who loves Jimmy B...

Just to zoom completely off on a tangent, how many people realize that the people who defend the constitution voluntarily give up some of their first amendment rights (and other various and sundry rights) when they raise their right hand and take their oath? i do. thank goodness there are people pa...

I respect everyone's opinion, but I never understood why a concert is not a place for a performer to speak his or her mind. Jimmy could, obviously, but I'm glad he doesn't. A JB show is all about escaping for a couple of hours (I'm paraphrasing, but Jimmy said something like that in the shows just ...

What about all of the VIP's too.. Mayor Menino himself said "I'll be there" He's not worried about how he'll get a ticket! I think the venue itself and all the hype it is creating for Jimmy to play there is going to attract anyone with easy access to tickets to check it out, making it har...

No matter what happens I won't open up a million threads and whine about it! I will s*** it up and do what I need to do. Amen to that Rick! Personally I'd rather not call Jimmy's bluff on this one - I'll take a scheduled show at Fenway over a purely speculative one at another location. Ditto. In other words, you'll all take whatever crumbs Jimmy throws you? Right? :-? Ooooo, wish I could be a fly on the wall when word of this kind of c...
