Yes, Buckwheat Zydeco is great!! I've seen him twice in concert, and it's quite the good time. Also check out Beausoleil, they put on a good show too. Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, also C.J. Chenier...that should get you off to a good start!

My husband used to hate Jimmy, he's learned to tolerate him over the years...but he still thinks I am way too obsessed with all things Jimmy! My 6 year old knows several of the songs and sings along...my coworkers also think I am obsessed, but a couple of them want to go to Alpine next year with me....
