Looks like there was a new face playing guitar next to Mac when Jimmy appeared on the Today show monday. Anybody know who it is? At first, I thought if might have been on of the Mayer Brother's son - but he looked too old.

So Jimmy only did 1 show in Mansfield this year and we think we know why know - ticket sales. Normally both shows sell out in 15 minutes - but even last year - the Thursday show did not sell out. Does Livenation have local phone numbers to call for tickets? Ticketmaster always had local numbers in each city in addition to the main 800 number. Seats in Sec 5,7 and 8 (all covered pavillion) are avail on TM for the 9/6 Great Woods Show. Even 4 in a row in Sec 8. My guess is these are returns that TM is taking from customers not happy with the 3pm start.

Buy them and return your wet lawn seats.

yup - my friend call TM and got a refund. definately good tickets showing up in the pavillion now. if you have lawn - call and cancel and buy seats!

it's the ticket prices. lot's of my friends who are not diehard fans used to go when the tix were $25 for lawn and $75 for seats. but now lawn seats are $75 and seats are $156 (even the uncovered). so now they only go every other year or every couple of years

What the hell was up with Paul Shaffer playing the keyboards behind Jimmy? He had the sheet music out and looked like he was playing in a band for the first time. He played like 5 seconds. The camera kept going to him expecting to show him playing but he was totally out of it.
