Re: Selective Service Questions....
When this was enacted, I think women were still "restricted" from some military activities (1980) Why it hasn't been changed is purely political I believe. The only congressman I ever hear talking about selective service is Charlie Rangel and he has pushed for a draft to get the rich kids ...

Re: Ticket Buying Garbage
Jimmy's ticket sales have been weak the past 2 years. The economy is still bad so I wouldn't expect you to have too much trouble getting tickets to the show you desire. If you had you had your heart set on those specific seats then it truly is sad that you didn't have an opportunity to get them. If ...

Re: Westboro to spew its hate at Arizona shooting funerals
The AZ legislature is supposed to pass a bill today banning demonstrations at funerals. I hope they show up and get their asses thrown in jail. They passed it, but the ban is not outright, just no demonstrations within 300ft. That's the best they can do. I know the Tucson community will rally aroun...

If people would stop paying attention to these a-holes they might go away. Where are they getting the money for all this travel? :pirate: ^^This I don't think this is possible because it brings ratings for all forms of media. It is an easy day of programming for a radio talk show host to bring it u...

Garage door never locked. I'm not even sure I know where the key is. Front door locked at night. Unlocked during the day even if we are not home.

Re: Flying out of Philly tomorrow am
With the holiday mess and Philly inability to cope with snow flurries, I would take the refund and travel at a different time. If you decide to attempt the 10:30 flight. Print your ticket/boarding pass now. I doubt that 10:30 flight will leave on time unless your plane is currently sitting at the ga...

Re: Top Singles of 2010?
LOL I remember when my parents thought everything I liked was crap and the top 10/40 was all bad music, but yuh this music today is wretched. I blame the grunge movement of the 90's and iTunes. Music hasn't been the same since 'artists' haven't been required to put 8-12 good songs on an album.

Re: The Internet war has started
Julian Assange and his group of henchmen should be eliminated from this planet. So should Pfc. Bradley Manning. I think the focus has been diverted to Assange to deflect from the real issue, while I am find it annoying that he has these documents, I am quite disturbed that a PFC had access to these...

Looking forward to Lancaster...BTW there has been no mention of his Iron Man marathon schedule. Performing 5 consecutive days with some considerable distance between venues is crazy in my opinion, but Peter if you see this message, stay crazy, your talents and commitment are greatly appreciated.

Hit Portugal a couple of years ago. It is the best land based vacation we ever took. We spent 3 days in Lisbon - could have been 2, we then headed south to the Algarve region for 3 days, it was beautiful and then 2 days in Sintra - should have been 3. Sintra is incredible. palace de seteais was an a...

if you are looking for very warm socks/boots/anything, check out Cabella's or any other hunting/sporting place. Sportspeople, spend a lot of time in the elements they have the best gear.
