It struck me as i listened to Mr. Buffett's comments on the show, that there was almost certainly some backstory to this... it was a strange appearance for him to make, not singing among so many top rate singers. Even if he couldnt be there (and why not, I wonder, last Feb?? he wasnt doing anything ...

On August 7, 2002, Jimmy played a show with Jerry Jeff Walker at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett NY. Jimmy did 8 songs, Jerry did 10. They played together on just 3. L.A.
