I agree "Be as You Are" ranks up there as one of the best Island/Tropical cd's made. I love the laid back feel to the whole cd.

I find it odd that KISS has not been inducted in the Hall of Fame and it was Gene Simmons that found VH to begin with. Probably half the bands in the RNRHOF probably have opened for them.

Jake I agree with everything in this thread. Although I am late getting into the Trop Rock scene from what I have heard so far this is a classic. I love the song "life on the gulf" and "grouper and beer". Looking forward to catching you live sometime.
