Longboardn, Enjoy your trips. New Holland Brewery in downtown Holland has some decent beer though ya can't mixed drinks there cuz Ottawa County is goofy and doesn't let microbreweries also sell liquor. I'm flyin' the 4 place plane to Holland, Diet Coke will be as exotic as I get. K-Zoo will depend ...

Longboardn, Assuming the show is at DTE, Comerica Park, Ford Field or another Michigan venue, for which State I am licensed to render such advice when not catching and releasing fish (including hopefully some salmon in 2 weeks in the Sault rapids), I think you are clearly barred from representing t...

It's much more persuasive to say something like, as was explained in Buffett v. Chesney , 447 (volume number) Mich 212 (page number) (2007 - year of publication), the Michigan Supreme Court defined Chesney's music as "insuferrable dreck which clearly plagiarizes directly from the lyrics and sp...

Oh yeah...Next time you see Mr. Bell, ask him to market his Two Hearted and Third Coast Ales more aggressively. I'd rather have those any day over OBERON. :D I'll be in Holland (just down the coast from you) this Sat., and Kalamazoo a week from Monday. If I see Larry B, I'll relay your suggestions ...

A beer I am sick of is Bell's Oberon. It was fun/intersting when it first came out. But it's just become boring and I resent that it's supplanted other decent beers as the house "micro brew" at most bars and restaurants in our area. I think the beers from the Traverse City Brewing Company...

My Miller Chill story was pretty boring, I should have mentioned the names of those Motel Six guys: Dan and Dave.
Now if Tom Bodette had been involved, THAT would have been a story!

amazed that the people you "gave" them to didn't beat you to death with the bottles.. :D I was a bit worried about that as well. Actually it was worse, they were the maintenence workers at the FL motel we were staying at. Good thing nothing broke down in our room-I would have to repair it...

Takes more than a cool name and picturesque lable.
I thought Miller Chill was the coolest name and the most refreshing looking bottle I had ever seen.
I drank half of one, and gave the rest away.
Made no friends.

Beach Bum Ale

Explain Beach Bum to this beach bum. I saw it yesterday for the first time sitting with all the rest of the AB products. (No Landshark though) Standing in the Rite Aid pharmacy in my bare feet and tank top, I just had to purchase a 6-pack despite the $8.49 price (not including tax and MI 10 cent dep...

We actually have the best health care of any country in the world. It might not be as available as some lower quality services are in those other countries, but we provide more quality health care per capita than any other nation. That's not such comforting news to those that can't afford it, but it...

Did we charge you for the beer?! IT was free beer through a Flamingo Beer bong . . . . THat is a straight up reward through and through. In fact the FLamingo will be migrating to Las Vegas in OCtober. In my mind it was pure reward. Provided the photos don't make it to far, there was no embarassment...

Im sure its simple. My plan was to build one until I found out we got a professional one for nothing. I returned most of what i bought for it. We did it 50/50. 50% chance of getting a reward - drink, jell-o shot etc or 50% embarassing yourself - Fake an orgasm, sing, various dares . . . It was fant...

I'm not sure how I feel about throwing together a mobile tailgate out of state . . . Not familiar with surroundings and such . . . I'd have to figure out how to get commitments and money up front from those interested. Let me chew on this. I am never one to turn away an opportunity to throw a hellu...

I only discovered BN this past Feb. Got my Tinley tics from a Bner spouse in person, so I guess that was my first meet-up. At the pre-tailgate tailgate at the Holiday Inn parking lot, it was so cool to finaly meet so many more. The real tailgate proved to have more BNers than I can even remember. I ...
