By air: Detroit to Vegas, twice

Driving: Every year 4 1/2 hours (or 7 hours depending on construction) to Chicago.

Best this year: 45 minute drive from Novi, MI to Clarkston (DTE)!!!

Finally, even though we got soaked!!

Wish I could go to see Fingers, but I'm not sure if I'm calling in sick the day of the concert. I teach and it's the beginning of school and I live too far away from the east side to drive back and get up at 5:30am. I'm sure you guys will have a great time!

I don't know about tm on the internet. My husband and several others were trying on the computer and didn't get anything. Went to a TM outlet and couldn't believe I got some tickets!!! The first few people got lawn and the sellers thought it was sold out, then they were able to get some pavillion. I...

Don't think we'll have to worry about pavillion prices, since there are usually no seats available for sale anyway---even if you're first in line!

I'll be there with my friend. People won't have to worry about seeing over us--we're sitting near the top of the stadium! Anyone have better seats for us?

I too have been quite lucky (and now very spoiled) to have gotten very close quite a few times. I did have front row in Chicago for the concert that was set for right after 9/11. Got the tks from ticketmaster at Marshall-Field's in Detroit, so we were first in line. They ended up cancelling the conc...

Funny you should mention Mandalay Bay Beach. The first time I stayed there and went to the pool, I thought "this would be THE perfect place to see Buffett." Count me in where ever, but the Beach would be GREAT.

I teach, and hopefully I'll have a full time job at that time which wouldn't allow me to travel at the beginning of the school year. We will be at Wrigley Field Sun. Closer to Heaven than to Buffett, but at least we'll be there.

There have been several. Heard I Love the Now at a concert, that was my new favorite. Knees of my Heart, Meet Me In Memphis, Saxaphones were the same, my favorites too. Nothing could beat Banana Republics though (Chicago, I think) when he did it as a solo for an encore. The vocal just sent chills do...
