I got to meet Dean Karnazes at the Hartford Marathon today, and get my number signed. I had my book but it was in the car and too far away to go and come back, very nice guy. He ran a 3:29 on Day 28, the 2nd fastest time so far, on a perfect day to run.

I did 4:20, but I'll get him next time!

WCBS is reporting it may have been a sight-seeing plane, it looks like an accident, not terrorism.

I recorded it on my Sirius, the way it was played, I can skip right to the songs and over the talk. I think the album is pretty good, I still have 2 or 3 songs left to listen to. There was a little satellite breakup during "Everybody's on the Phone" however.

I read his book, it's called "Ultra-Marathon Man: Confessions of an All-Night Runner", he'll make the 50 in 50, no problem. He once ran 113 miles to get to a marathon, then ran the actual marathon in 3:30, or close to that.

He's running here in Hartford, I'm pretty sure as one of the 50.
