Re: Margaritaville in Orland Park?

I heard a rumor that I can't confirm or deny, but I wanted to see if anyone else has heard anything: Margaritaville may be opening a restaurant in Orland Park, IL? Going along with the rest of the locations, this location doesn't make sense...I contacted the chamber of commerce but haven't heard ba...

I enjoy both the 1980's and the 2005 Reefers. However, I'd pick the 1980s band. Back then it seems like it was all about the music and the stories. Today, it seems like it is all about the show. As musicians, I think its hard to compare since it is 2 completely different eras. I do miss the harmonic...

I agree with Wannabejane. I'd pay $100/ticket in advance to help the cause if I knew this was going to happen.

It sound like we just need to see what HK Management says and we'll know how quickly the ball can get rolling.

Since everyone would be on their own for travel, food, etc, think the real question is how much would you spend for the tickets? How much up front? I don't know that I could put a real dollar on what I'd be willing to spend without knowing venue, how many people would be at the show, when is it?, et...

I voted midwest because I'm in St. Louis. I think Florida would be great. But when it comes right down to it, anywhere with a Major Airport would be good for a Private Party.

I'm open to helping if when/if needed. I've put on a couple charity events and could solicit help from my Sister-in-laws boyfriend. He's responsible for events, including booking and setting up all concerts, etc on a local college campus. A few names he's dealt with are Kelly Clarkson and Gavin DeGr...

I read all the time, but rarely post. (Check the joined date). We're 'in' and very glad to have joined prior to 5/13/2005. i can recommend a few worthy charities if we go that direction. i've done events the past 2 yrs in St. Louis for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Very worthy cause. In fact, my w...

I think the answer lies in which city has the largest ballpark, where Jimmy can make the most money.

Cincy has the newest ballparke but I don't know which stadium holds more Cinergy or Turner.

Great call on him being "Western's Jimmy Buffett". Anyone who rode or followed rodeo knew Chris' music. He definitely had the "cult" following within that lifestyle. I saw him at what used to be Little Bit of Texas, which became Incahoots in St. Louis. It was a great intimate ven...

Ledoux was an outstanding performer and one of the most high energy shows ever. It is too bad country radio didn't embrace him. But, according to Nashville, rodeo and a true cowboy life doesn't sell in the mainstream (he has a few songs about this). He definitely lived what he sang about and sang ab...

This man put on an outstanding concert. We had planned on seeing him in August at a rodeo in Sikeston, MO.

I'm happy to say I met him a couple times and he even signed my Cowboy Hat.

He'll be missed.

Looked at his website and it had venues listed. I'm disappointed that all of his summer dates are in indoors.

Never thought I'd be reading about Chris Ledoux on Buffettnews. If you ever get a chance to see him... GO!!! The man had a liver transplant and still puts one an awesome show. In fact, Garth Brooks said that he used LeDoux's show as an example for his "high energy" shows. Wait a minute...G...

16 or 9, I'm not quite sure. I bought SYKBH as a Jr. in high school just because my mom said she didn't like him because he sang that song about "Getting Drunk". Wore the tape out. Didn't realize I was a Parrothead until 7 years later when I moved back to STL the day of his concert and was...

This is a trick question. Do you mean age according to the year born or mental age. Those are 2 very different ages. One 34, the other just turned 21 today. Also, this could mean, again, calendar age or age as Parrotheads. Again, 34 and right around 16 (became a parrothead my junior year of high sch...

Anything Jimmy (or Bob Marley)! Actually, it would most likely be Feeding Frenzy or my RM versions of Nashville in '02 or Saturday in Chicago '03. I was at both concerts in "slightly impaired" condition, so it's like going back. (I'd add Chicago from Saturday '04, but I can't seem to find ...

I see that one person has recorded it to DVD and the other made an Audio CD. Anyone care to trade for a concert? I don't have the technology to do either. I do however have Nashville from '02 and Chicago, Saturday '03 on discs from RM. If not, I'll just wait like everyone else until it is finally re...
