I don't think Jimmy is forgetting about GW, you have to realize that it is somewhat of an honor to be asked to play Fenway. The only person that has performed there is Bruce Springsteen this past summer. It's clear that they will only ask the biggest names in the business (JB, U2) to ensure a sellout.

it actually wouldn't be much more than the 33,000. The stage is in centerfield so that eliminates most of the outfield bleacher seats (behind the stage) I get the feeling most are opposed because of the tailgaiting situation. There are many of us on this board that have gone to many concerts togethe...

Lee it's the smallest ballpark in the majors, you won't need the jumbotron. S'okay, you can have the ticket I would have bought... I would say that any seat in Fenway would be closer than any lawn seat at GW. This is turning out great, from the responses it looks like Ragtop will get a private conc...

It definatley will not be over labor day weekend, Sox are home against Detroit I beleive. I'm probably in the minority here but I would welcome 1 show at Fenway instead of GW (for 1 year only, than it's back to GW). 2 of my favorite things in the entire world... Buffett and Fenway! I'll shut down St...

At the shows in February of this year, he sang all the verses; the complete song. Don't get me wrong, I love this song, but it seemed no one was singing by the end. People used this song for bathroom breaks and such as that. Maybe he got the same vibe and decided to shorten it for future shows. Jus...

The stuff is supposedly not THAT country - still Jimmy. More like Jimmy's earlier (but not EARLIEST) works... I've heard it will be one of the best albums of late. I don't know. If it is that good its kinda sad to think that it was done without the majority of the Reefer Band and the fact that it i...

what does he mean by recording 17 songs? Is it the usual where him and Mac write 4 songs and the rest are covers? :(

not sure if it matters how big it is. I think this will be an invite event only... especially since it is in Vegas.

In my opinion this project was more about the money and less about the quality of the product.

I think it is perfectly acceptable to criticize a performer that you greatly admire when in your opinion they put out a less than average product.
