Re: Policies on cancellation of plane tix and how late to buy
Right now she's finding airfare in the 800. range and this is ok. Sounds high. Should be able to do a lot better than that. I've seen Philthadelphia r/t $400-700. I've never paid more than $600 r/t to london. Be flexible, you have newark, jfk, phl and balt/dc airports to choose from. Flexibility in...

Re: Policies on cancellation of plane tix and how late to buy
Normally she'd fly from Philly but to save a decent amount we'd do Camden or Md. This is nuts. If I thought it would be better I'd tell her to wait until the spring semester. But if this goes underground and re emerges during flu season then that is when it will be worst.

How far out would you consider the baseline? Mid-May for an August flight?

Re: Policies on cancellation of plane tix and how late to buy
Unfortunately, the consensus so far among the travel insurance providers is that they will not provide trip cancellation coverage if the airline refuses to fly into a Swine Flu area. OK that sucks. I'll have to see how much the cancel for any reason policy is. Then i'll have to see which is cheaper...

Re: Policies on cancellation of plane tix and how late to buy
I was hoping trip insurance would cover this. But I'm not sure on what reasons are acceptable to cancel. If it seems that the problem is especially bad in college dorms, or if the school decides to not support the program but it is not officially canceled. I'm wondering if there are specific reasons...

Policies on cancellation of plane tix and how late to buy
My daughter is doing a semester abroad in England the end of August. I'm not a worrier but am concerned that this whole swine flu panic might affect this. She is planning on buying her tix in 3-4 weeks. In the event that it seems like it's not a good time to do this or the school decides to cancel p...

Re: cupcakes
Usually I like to keep cupcakes simple. When I"m ambitious and for valentines day I make red velvet cupcakes with mascarpone icing. Very good.

Subordination of mortgage clause in lease
I am renting a condo that I love. However there is a subjugation of mortgage clause in the lease. I don't remember ever seeing this before. My concern is loss of my lease in the event of sale of property or foreclosure. Here in NJ you have protection against this. I am afraid they are trying to remo...

Re: From A Salty Piece of Land
I am glad you enjoyed it. I wish there were more prisms in it. If you see one with all of the prisms it is even more special. Over the years people stole prisms and kept them as souvenirs or used them for projects. When they first found the lens there were many more prisms missing. As people hear of...

boxed wines
Have you tried them? Opinion? I like the Black Box Cab. but would like to find a white. I don't drink alot but like to have a glass of wine occasionally. Then in three weeks I end up dumping the rest out because I have forgotten about it. Guilt.

Re: Teacher job fair help
Even though it was only open to my school lines were long. Atlantic City is doing a big hire. You basically had to choose between waiting in line for AC which went around the building or going to most of the other schools. I did a few schools, got into line for AC thinking there are still three hour...

Re: Teacher job fair help
Yes this is helping a good deal. I'm feeling better. I know I'm well prepared. Also, how many letters of reference are good to have? I have a glowing letter from my CT. I can get more from my school, including from the vice principal if needed. My supervisor said that more then one if it is good is ...

Re: Where are these moth's breeding?
The traps do work well. After throwing out everything, putting all new things in ziplock bags or containers, wiping with bleach and putting in the traps I finally ended our moth problem. They still come back from time to time. They have the traps in home depot too.

Teacher job fair help
I am graduating in a few weeks and ready to find a job teaching. My school is having a job fair for teachers tomorrow. I have never been to a job fair and don't really know what to expect. Any tips? If you are a teacher would you bring copies of your resume as well as your portfolio or only the resu...

The world always needs more cowbell. It's my personal soundtrack when i'm walking through town.wiscoleeds wrote:I think it's great you included a video signature of him. That's great promoting.
Not sure there's a huge demand for cow bell players but he should live his dream as long as possible.
Cheers

My son isn't on there yet. He won't be until the first show he plays the first week of May when they announce the change officially. He is in the newer recordings though.
I'm fairly sure they have a facebook presence as well
