The mint I bought just didn't have much of a smell and it tasted kind of earthy instead of minty. I think that was the problem. I just started growing some but it'll take some time.

I've had mojitos while out and love them. But when I try to make it at home, not so good. Can anybody give me some good easy directions on how to make one at home. I have all the ingredients here except mint. I'm wondering if the reason mine didn't taste right is the mint I bought at a grocery store.

Hey HOT, I'm with you. On a hot summer day I love a G&T. Lots of ice and lime. I don't like tequila that much, I know sacralige. But I loce rum. I like my drinks to be light, refreshing and fizzy. My new fave thing is a Mojito. I can't quite get it right at home though.

believe it or not I may be managing Pat Croce's Pirate Mini-Golf here for the rest of the summer. Believe it or not pirates are my first hobby close in place to Buffett. I'm currently writing a pirate themed book. I just figured he did the golf course in pirate theme because of the shore town thing.

I've been meaning to ask him if he's doing Buffett security this year. He is doing Vans Warped Tour and offered to get my kids back stage passes if they came out. He's also a big guy. Works for the city and they always snag him to do these security things on the side.

My BIL does security there as well for concerts and special guests. He's not a parrothead but did Buffett last year. Told DH he saw more naked boobs there then any time in his life. If I want to fly to Tinley he could get me in and some other special goodies. Maybe I will do this someday.

I just know it's Lance's year. OLN does such an excellent job with coverage. I wish they covered the NY Marathon instead of ABC.

Another fun thing to do with the micro. Take a grape, slice it in half lengthwise, but leave it attached at the bottom end with a piece of skin.
