I'm surprised no one has mentioned Tarkus by ELP! Ev'ry blade is sharp; the arrows fly Where the victims of your armies lie, Where the blades of brass and arrows reign Then there will be no sorrow, Be no pain. Oh man, Utley could really rock out on that one... but could he play upside down and backw...

It was what a 5 point game going into the 4th? Domination? I do not think so. Dominating would have been like a 21 point lead going into the 4th. Dude, apart from the opening kickoff TD return, the Bears only scored 10 points. And did you check Grossman's passing stats through the first three quart...

I bet Jimmy did a spit take with his coffee when he read the news! :)

Wow, good on Ozzy! I'm not a fan, so I won't be going, but it's nice to see someone taking a stand. Maybe this will be the start of a trend.

Oooh, thought of another one: Tales From Topographic Oceans! The whole thing, 100 minutes of it! It's deeply philosophical but it's also got that aquatic theme so near and dear to Jimmy's heart!

Nous sommes du soleil. We love when we play.

Hopefully everyone can just let the Colts and their fans enjoy the moment and lay off the "can they repeat" crap. Nobody can repeat these days. The league is geared against it in every way imaginable. Yeah, I know: the Patriots won 3 out of 4, but that was a complete anomaly that had the ...

Jimmy is short! (Either that, or the ladies are giantesses.)

I'm not a fan of the glasses either.

The Bears fans are as silent as the Patriots fans were 2 weeks ago. Which is about as quiet as the Colts fans had been for the past 5 or 6 years. :) The Bears have to be the worst 13-3 team ever. Their defense carried them a long way, and playing in the NFC helped, but ultimately the lack of offens...

Supper's Ready by Genesis. I can hear Jimmy singing the intro in my mind, maybe with some steel drums underneath:

"Walking across the sitting room, I turn the television off..."

I guess when you've underachieved for so long, and never been to a Super Bowl, you do things like that.

Man, do the Bears stink or what? Take away that TD return to start the game, and they only mustered 7 points! It was painfully obvious their defense carried them a long way - because their offense is woefully inadequate.

The REAL Super Bowl was played two weeks ago in Indianapolis.

If we ignore global warming/climate change it's not going to go away. If we continue raping the planet it's going to get worse. It's the old "If we close our eyes, the enemy can't see us" ploy. I'm pretty sure you can twist the data to conform to whichever side of the argument you take. Bu...

Does anyone remember how long it took to get in at PNC? I was lucky to get into the stadium early enough so that I wasn't bothered by the lines, but my friends missed over half of the first set due to the wait. I remember hearing about that afterwards. We must have lucked out because the gate we we...

And it sold out in less than 30 minutes.
More dollars than sense, as a certain someone once sang. :)

I've seen Jimmy at both PGP and PNC. PGP is more intimate, and PNC has more of a "big event" feel to it. Either venue would be fine with me.

When you analyze this through a lens that takes into account increased wages, cost of living, inflation, and so on, so-called "decent tickets" are no more expensive than they ever were. I don't know about that. I paid $12 to see The Who in 1982 using only my allowance money - and I was pr...
