On the flip side, if someone starts a critical thread, why can't those of us who don't agree with the criticism post our opinions? Are we supposed to remain silent because we disagree? I don't have a problem with people expressing opposing points of view. Hey, this forum would really s*** if conver...

. .why do you even bother to spend time on a website that supports and applauds Jimmy . . ? ? Yeah, but people who complain about high ticket prices don't like Jimmy's music and less than those who don't. If I can paraphrase a commonly heard piece of advice around here: If you don't like hearing co...

Let me see if I understand the crux of the argument: Jimmy's ticket prices (for pavilion seats, in particular) are too expensive and that he isn't doing much to keep them down. vs. The onus isn't on Jimmy to keep ticket prices down, and that those who can't afford pavilion seats should be happy with...

Only thing is, I'm surprised the Marshall Tucker Band and the Outlaws even have permission to use those names since most of the original band members aren't even in the lineups any more. Yeah, but Fingers isn't in Jimmy's lineup anymore is he? ;) I think there's only one original member in the Mars...

I can confirm that Jimmy will not be playing the Post-Gazette Pavilion on July 6 this year. Why? Because the Volunteer Jam is there: the Charlie Daniels Band, the Outlaws and the Marshall Tucker Band - all on the same day! And the best part? A pair of pavilion seats costs $25, thanks to the Buy 1 Ge...

I had a party in my backyard with RM on. We had a great party for alot LESS than we would have spent. With no lines to the bathroom. We did much the same thing. I simply couldn't justify the expense of the tickets, transportation, accommodations, etc. So we stayed home, did our own backyard tailgat...

When do summer dates usually get announced?

I know that summer tour dates usually come in dribs and drabs (which makes it frustratingly complicated for me), but when do we normally start to see them getting announced?

The comparison was to the luxury, not the class - or lack thereof! :)

It has been said here a million times, you don't want to pay for tickets, don't. it's real simple. In some cases, though, people simply can't afford the tickets. I guess it's like eating caviar and drinking Dom Perignon: wonderful for those who can afford it, but the rest of us have to make due wit...

Re: Does Anyone REALLY think ticket prices are too high?

For some people 125 is a huge bargain and for others it was/is the straw that broke the camels back for them. Exactly. Ticket prices are getting too high for me these days. I won't spend $125 (plus gas, food, lodging) to see Jimmy - or anyone else, for that matter. Not when there are other prioriti...

if you play tennis and golf and love the outdoors the Greenbrier is great. Greenbrier looks great - but a little "upscale" for us! :) Looks like the Shenandoah Valley/Blue Ridge Parkway might be the choice this year. Anyone have any favorite spots (suitable for families) in that neck of t...

I wouldn't call the loss humiliating.....a couple of stupid mistakes........humiliating would be getting beat 24-0!!!...They played with a guy who was playing his 1st playoff game The score certainly wasn't humiliating: they only lost by three points. What must have been disappointing - and possibl...

I imagine the Pats will gladly take the playoff win and give the Jets the regular season victory. :)

I think the Chargers could of ran 1 more play with 8 Seconds left.......a quick out or throw it away if nothing is there!!! You know what? The time to kick a field goal was in the first quarter, when it was 4th and 11 from the Patriots 30 yard line. That was even closer than the attempt at the end ...

Sorry, but LT and the rest of the Chargers are sounding like whiners. You don't want the visitors celebrating in the middle of your field, then don't give them a reason to: Win the game.

Simple rule: Never pick against the Pats in the playoffs. If you picked them to win all of their Belichick-coached playoff games, you'd have been wrong only once.
