Been listening to LTC since its release. All in all, I've probably listened to it 20 times, straight through. All I can say is I'm not burned out and I don't think I will be anytime soon -- because everytime I listen to it, I get something new out of it, some little nuance. I know some people don't ...

I think it's kind of obvious from the tone of the entire article that the reviewer is NOT a fan of JB. I get the sense he appreciated Jimmy's mid-70s stuff and that's the extent of it. Makes you wonder why they'd assign this guy to do the review. It reminds me of concert reviews (non-Buffett shows) ...

I should mention that's the Billboard 200 Album chart -- not "just" the Country chart! First week U.S. sales of 234,000 copies (I guess us "foreigners" don't count. )

I can see that! I stumbled across TJW when I discovered he was the writer of Rainy Night in Georgia, one of my favourite songs. I can't believe I'd missed such great music for so long!

Finally received LTC in the mail today -- one week after its release. No real explanation offered. My guess is someone screwed up and didn't order enough copies, so they ran out. Good for Jimmy, bad for me!
