A lot of classical music was written eons ago so why someone would want to break up - that makes NO sense. Has there ever been any new classical music written that's memorable? I probably shouldn't ask that since I don't know but I did - I truly don't know. I don't listen to that kind of music excep...

Ahhhh, the old debate. Jimmy covered a song other people wrote that was never recorded for an album before.

Got it.

That makes sense. But BIBOMO is about New Orleans and no where else. After cruising the Mississippi Gulf Coast and doing some work in Bay St Louis and hanging out in Waveland, where the storm surge got up to 40 feet, I don't think anyone in Mississippi would think of it as dismissive nor get upset b...

Oh, oops - Through The Lonely Nights was the B-side to The Rolling Stones' It's Only Rock'N'Roll single. TTLN was recorded for the Goats Head Soup LP but was not the last Jimmy Miller produced track to appear on a studio release AFTER Miller...stopped producing the Stones in 1973.

From all the liner notes I've read Grisham is the only pedal steel player on any of JB's LPs. And he is the only pedal steel player to have ever played with Jimmy - in the studio and on tour.

I've always noticed while dressing the tree that as I drink rhum while doing it the tree always seems to look better and better even though it's a bit crooked.

WHAT? Have you ever put anything else on there besides Buffett? Or did you max out the space? That's strange.

I heard WITW on Saturday at The Loft, a bar in Columbus, GA that the local radio station was playing. Being it such a long song I was a bit puzzled that the DJ chose to play that tune. Then again, who cares! I think EOTP is the best overall tune on the new album even though I like BIBOMO even more. ...

Doyle Grisham recorded on AWSCAAPC, LADI3/4T, A1A, HDaydreamin', SOChina and then BHOTM, T,T,S, FSOTW, MMIM, all of the Tiki Time LPs, LTC and TTWWY.

That's not exactly all the albums.

I lost my copy. It's somewhere in New Orleans. For some reason I couldn't find it last year. I was waiting for MCA to re-release it with BONUS TRACKS and extra packaging but I'll be dead before that never happens. I think $5.99 at Best Buy is a good deal - what do they call that kind of pricing? Los...

Ha ha! At least Everybody's On The Phone leaves no room for wonder! Great tune too. One of his best songs in years. I love cranking that while driving around and seeing how many people are on the phone while driving. It's way beyond any - if someone were to have told you back in 1988 that by Twentyh...

I listened to False Echoes the other day while driving through Mississippi into Louisiana and I just love James Taylor's harmony on that. I would think Jimmy would probably not want to play it live. I'd love to hear him do a dinky show with some horns and do tunes like Blue Heaven Rendezvous, Sendin...
