why don't we get drunk...

Someone got drunk and spewed on my Hawaiian skirt at Alpine last year. So...I thought this year I'd make a shirt with a parody of this song starting with "Please do not get drunk and spew...." but that's as far as I can get, I'm not that talented. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks...

Anon,

That really s***s, I'm sorry for you. I hope you didn't pay a ton of money for those tickets.

I bought my tix through a broker, but used C.O.D.-- a wonderful thing.

Everyone, if you're buying tickets from anyone other than ticketmaster, please arrange to pay cash on delivery!

I think you're right, BottleOfRum, but I think it'll keep some people from crying about the prices people are selling tickets for on the exchange.

At least I hope it does.

Mrrumpunch~ Just for your information, Vic listed tix for Alpine lawn at $40 on the Ticket Exchange. I think they came to about $45 with fees and shipping. I know he's making a good profit with all the tickets he's selling at this brokerage, but I was willing to pay, and I don't think I got ripped o...

I would like to THANK Victor... I picked up lawn seats for Alpine from him through the agency for $5 over face value for myself and four of my friends after I got shut out by Ticketmaster. I tried everything I could to get tickets, that's what a "TRUE Parrothead" does. I probably wouldn't ...

Anonymous~ First off, that broker I bought tickets from is still making decent money off me and others, no matter how many tickets he/she had to sell. Second, we don't NEED brokers. If there hadn't been any, the tickets wouldn't have sold out as fast as they did, and we would all have had a better c...

~Key Lime~

I totally understand what you're saying. Until we all stop buying tickets from brokers, there will be brokers selling tickets for over face value.

I realize I'm not helping the situation, but I found a good deal, and I want to see Jimmy that bad.

I got my tix for Alpine through Primetime Tickets. I dunno if they sell tickets for the venue you want, but I got them for about $10 over face value--not to shabby!

I'll give you the number: 800-296-8497

Good luck!!

Just an afterthought....

If the broker that I bought tickets from had, say, even 200 tickets to sell, he made at least $2000 on lawn seats alone.

I'd say that's good money for absolutely no work, wouldn't you?!

~RAGTOP~ I may have gotten tickets for a decent price, I'm not complaining about my own, and I'm not condoning people putting fake bids on tickets. Mainly because some of us actually WILL pay a little over face value because we want to see Jimmy. But I'm thinking of everyone else around here and on ...

I just got my Alpine tickets yesterday, from a broker asking only about $10 more than face value.

It was an offer I couldn't pass up.

Keep checking back to Ticket Exchange, it may be worth your while.

Anonymous-- Who's screwing who here? What, do you work for a broker, or Ticketmaster, for that matter?! The fans are the ones getting shafted now, and the brokers are making a killing! And if you're not "made of money", otherwise known as a "parrothead" by your terms, then what a...
