We got lawn tickets last year. Face value was $40. Charges vary depending on where the tickets were purchased. At the box-office is $0. Different ticket outlets charge different fees and TM online charges something different. I can't remember the online fee off the top of my head, but it's always be...

I finally got through to customer service yesterday. My plates were shipped Monday. Hoping they'll be there when I get home today!

Alan - I live sorta near Roanoke. We get there a couple times a month, usually on Saturdays. If you see a red Nissan with pr8hid, give us a honk!

I really liked Where Is Joe Merchant best, but all of his books are good.

John MacDonald is a good author when you're done with Buffett's books. His Travis McGee books are great summer reads (and best read in order!)

Here's the last thread on it. I've also heard that he might do a California show on the 18th and that plans are much further along for that than Baltimore. Good for the left coasters I guess, but sad for us. http://www.buffettnews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24972&start=0&postdays=0&...

Our class actually voted for this one. Of course the administration stepped in and vetoed it. We ended up with a Poco song, Follow Your Dreams, instead.

Maybe I need to give them another chance. They got their start really close to where I went to college. We saw a lot of their early local gigs. My roommates and I (who are all big parrotheads) thought they stunk. :-? I dunno, maybe they've improved. They do seem to be pretty popular these days.

I got this info in an email last week through our PH club. :-?

It has been announced by Corona in Baltimore for 9/18 but it's premature.
It's not been finalized - there are still a lot of issues involved with securing the venue for the Buffett show.

Our soldier's name is Lance Robert somethingorother. Silly me, I thought Lance was his rank. Turns out Lance is NOT his rank, rath...

The easiest way from BWI to Nissan is I95 to the Beltway to I-66. Beltway traffic generally isn't too bad on a Saturday. But it's a holiday weekend so you might want to find an alternate route. We were on the beltway on Memorial Day weekend and it took us more than 2 hours to travel 16 miles! :o

And PHIP clubs already offer seats to their members- granted, it's only one show per year, but a lot of venues have enough seats to cover the club members who actually participate. But take for example the Nissan show. Something like 1350 members were eligible for 300 tickets. Not very good odds of...
