Does anyone have any info on the state of road construction into and around Alpine Valley? Is there anything people driving in should be aware of?

I know someone who was there at the time of the shoot and that in the Sunset Key owners waiting room (Hilton Marina) there are framed pictures of the photoshoot.

It's the beach on Sunset Key...tiny little island that's a 5 minute boot trip off of Key West (Hilton Resort launch).

Let's just say I have first hand experience on that beach and have swung in that hammock.

Did the Vegas street party...as an Alpine Valley vet I must say I was completely disappinted and let down by the whole Las Vegas Buffett experience! If Alpine is a 10 then Vegas is about a 1.

No doubt no one in our group wants to take the responsibility of driving...hence the quest for bus options. Which appear to be more difficult than getting a ticket to the show. So far the ONLY option is Volcano Express and even with that I can't find anyone who has ever done it from Milwaukee.

Scored three lawn tickets...now just need to figure out transportation and tailgating.

"crowded" is very relative. All the lawn sections are wall to wall people but the East section is a bit easier to navigate getting in and out of for bathroom breaks and beer runs.

Can I conclude that if I'm picked up in Milwaukee that the bus ends up at some central meeting location to head to Alpine. How long can I expect to be on the bus and what time do the buses arrive at Alpine?

The prices are right on the Volcano Express website and they have a number of price flavors to fit your taste.

My concern is the reliability. I don't want to be sitting at the pickup point waiting for a bus that never comes or arrives at 6:00PM. I assume you can drink on the bus?
