I think this is wonderful. And I can't think of any album I wouldn't want to hear covered. Except SYKBH, which he covers every year.

Last Saturday I got to see Jim Morris, not in my living room but someone else's living room, and I HIGHLY recommend it. What a great time. Of the non-tropical artists, Delbert McClinton would be my pick.

Figure this one out. I'm at work on a new computer with high speed connection and get shut out. My husband's at home on a computer that's one step up from a Tandy with dial up connection and gets two tickets in 9R. Mortal man will never understand the mysterious ways of Ticket Bastard.

Thanks, LIPH. Just for that, you get to be the ground crew for it. That thing was more of a pain than the lighthouse to set up and take down.

I think it's kind of a dumb name for a tour. But Buffett never checks with me first. And, at least, I don't think my husband will be able to come up with any matching item to build and take tailgating like last year's 8 foot lighthouse with a rotating beacon and fog horn.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite CD, too. Of course, I'm partial to Trolling for Mermaids since I'm on the cover. :wink: Live at Octoberfish is good and Land of No Mondays is another favorite. But nothing is more fun than a live show with Jim and the band. Zanzibar-- I've never seen any of his CD...

I agree with Brown Eyed Girl. There seems to be less of the Trop Rock bands like Jim Morris and Sunny Jim and more of the standard artists you can hear on any easy listening station, like the Beach Boys. Bring back the old RM!

I've always been amazed that there aren't more grilling accidents in the parking lot. Grass skirts, open flames and drunks seems like a dangerous combination to me. Now, lets see if the idiots try to sue the venue, the gas grill manufacturer or the propane company.
