My wife is a "yellow album" (SYKBH) kind of fan and that's fine with me.
If she loved Jimmy's music as much as I do then she would wanna tag along to the shows and other Buffett inspired outings (ie-boating, drunken binges etc.) and I just can't have that.

Re: MISSUNDERSTOOD

OK OK...the first time I heard Migration I thought it was "listening to perfect walk-around -willie sing me their Texas rhyme"... had no clue what he was talking about...made more sense when I read the lyerics... ... (I know there is still some debate willis or willie). there are a...

Parrotheadism is spreading and in today's world I guess that's a good thing. I like Kenny's music too and since he is mainstream he gets a lot of pub but I prefer the lesser known independant Buffettesque acts (ie- Jim Morris, Sunny Jim, Hugo Duarte,Eric Stone, etc.) The way I look at it, The more i...

Try Saint Augustine, Florida.
I live near there and try to make it there every weekend.
Caribbean atmosphere ,A1A, beaches, lots of history, and lots of bars with Buffettesque performers.

Speaking of Hank Jr, I have a hilarious live bootleg of him butchering Family Tradition, cussing like a sailor, forgetting the words, mixing up the verses and what not.
I believe it's from the 90's because he slurs something Garth and oral sex.

Just a few months I went to a Hank Jr concert and he did the same thing.
Personally I like it when they change things up.
I don't really wanna hear them sing exactly like the recording.

My fave is Feeding Frenzy because of the energy on it but YHTBT is my 2nd fave.
I've been thinking about editing out some of the talking and trying to fit all of the songs on one cd.

"Divers do it deeper" by D.A.C. sort of ripped it's melody from "Change in Lattitudes" which prompted a few choise words by Jimmy but that's as far as it went.
Nowadaze he'd prolly get sued

Back in the early 80's when we first got cable, Grease was playing all of the time. I was absolutely in love with Olivia Newton John (Sandra Dee). I was just around eight at the time and I did not know what I wanted to do to her, I just knew I wanted to do it. Even today if I catch that movie on or ...

Tim Dorsey's books are great, sorta like Hiaasen only more action packed and funnier.

Laurence Shames is also great.

How cool is it that you can record a soundtrack for one of your favorite books?
