Can't wait for the day when I can listen to music. I haven't been able to listen to anything without breaking down. So I stay tuned to talk shows and tolerate the idiots.

I haven't seen Sideways yet nor I have probably seen the majority of movies that are up for Oscars this year but of the ones I have seen, I'd go with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Behind for my favorite of 2004. Just saw Sideways last night ... what a delightful movie with great dialogue and side-splitting moments. But I don't think it's oscar material. I have to go with the favourite ... Million Dollar Baby. Hillary Swank for sure as best actress. She literally "knocked out". Anyone else?

Yep ... one of my favorites, although it makes me pretty weepy now ... (memories of slow dancing). My favorite version is on an older cd called "Trio Two" ... a compilation of great oldtimers from various artists sung by Dolly, Emmylou and Linda.

After a good start this morning, we went to the vet . She told me to get the non-petroleum hand cleaner from an auto shop. So ... here we go again. Lathered up Henry's nether parts with the cleaner and then rewashed him up once again with Dawn, and lots of clear water. This poor kitty is so complian...

All seems better in Henry's world .... a lot of the oil is gone, and he has a good appetite. I think he really washed a lot last night, but he is not sick. I trimmed a lot of the matted fur off, and I think he'll be ok. All that oil was draining out JP's Porsche, which has been sitting in the garage...
