Is anyone else bringing their parakeet to the concert, if so do you know of any child friendly tailgating pre concert. My 9 year old is very excited about the concert but doesn't really have the patience for lots of lining up outside the venue.

Hi, I was there last night-it was amazing wasn't it. I noticed that crowd in the balcony too-never have I seen a group of people look so bored and disinterested. Anyone would have thought they were at a funeral! Can't wait for next year-roll on july 2010!

Okay time for a silly question-the doors open at 7 which means the concert must start about 8-any bets as to how long it will be? I can't remember how long the paris concert was last year. I phoned the venue and they said the tickets aren't on their system yet and they didn't know when they would be. They said the best thing to do was to sign up for their email updates and to check the website, which is: http://www.o2shepherdsbushempire.co.uk/.

It is definitely indoors, just not sure how big and how many it holds. According to wikipedia it started life as a music hall in the early 20th century. Hope the tickets go on sale soon!

According to margaritaville Jimmy is going to be in London at the Shepard's Bush Empire on July 5th-fingers crossed this is true. Tickets aren't on sale yet according to the Empire's website and the show isn't even listed. Hope they are just being slow. Anyone been to this venue? How does it compare...

long time lurker here decloaking to say that there are still tickets on www.fnac.fr. DH and I are going on the 20th and are very excited. We weren't able to make last year's concert and haven't seen jimmy live since tampa about 4 years ago.

It is hard being a parrothead in exile!
