Re: Why can't I *ever* get the cheap seats?
I have the exact opposite problem (see Tampa Show post). I get right in every time and can't get anything in the first 9 sections. If we could trade problems we'd both be all set!

Tampa Show
This is the second consecutive year I got into Ticketmaser before 10:01 and was offered "best available" in the third tier - Sec 14. How do they sell the first two tiers? Obviously they're not available in this sale.

I'm not sure I was clear. When driving down the highway I'll get my odometer to start a mile and then watch the mile markers until I travel an actual mile. When I have driven an actual mile my odometer is registering only 8/10ths of a mile and that's generous. I think it's more like 7/10ths. When I...

So when did he put in the Salt, Salt, Salt part? I don't know where it came from, but it provided one of my best concert memories. In 2001 at Great Woods (9/1), the only time I've had seats in one of the front sections, we brought three signs that each said salt. I was sure that Jimmy saw them as h...

I'd understand all these examples if you'd started with Jimmy is to Mobile, but I see this differently. It's just me, but I see this more in terms of hordes of followers making pilgrimages to the holy land. So...Jesus is to Bethlehem...Mohamed is to Mecca...Too weird? Wal*Martians are to Bentonvill...

Thank you both! I do have a stack of apt. guides, now I have a better idea where to concentrate. I'll try to schedule my next interview trip around the 25th! We hope to be there for good around March 1. If you come earlier than that let me know. I'd be happy to drive you around the area. (I'd avoid...

Relocating to Tampa/St Petersburg
After 40 New England winters, I've decided to "head south 'fore my dream shrinks". I've spent a couple of months exploring, and have decided on the Tampa/St Petersburg area. I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions or warnings from the phlock. I plan to rent for 6-12 months until I get a goo...

Frets can be replaced. The art is getting the new ones filed level with the rest. They pull out suprizingly easily with needle-nosed pliers. I did it myself once, and screwed up the new ones. I don't know about the cost, but I'd look for a guitarsmith listing and get a quote. Then you'll be able to ...
