I think as a result of a settlement that he cannot play "God's Own Drunk" any more. Some law suit that resulted in "The Lawyer and the a--hole" which refers to the guy that sued him to prevent any further play.

I had loads of trouble with the radiomargaritaville stero connection for the first 2 songs and the pre-show interview was totally lost. But for the last hour no breaks. Knock on wood!

I live across the street from the concord pavilion. Right now Tom Petty is playing in my backyard while I bbq. I'm switching off with Jimmy in the house on the net. I moved here in 95, I think the last year that Jimmy played Concord was 94. But I'll have him over for a swim and bbq if he plays here ...

I thought the party in the Irvine lot on Saturday night was the best I have ever seen. Is Alpine Valley even better? To hear you talk about it it sounds like it. I'm in Concord CA by San Francisco. I'm thinking of driving out for Alpine. Can I find some tickets somewhere? Or is it too late? boatdrin...

Sorry to hear about the flag. But glad that you made a good showing, sounds like a nice set up. Thievs everywhere, I've been hit twice in the last month, a car breakin and my wife got pickpocketed.

Best,

I'll find a vigin to throw in.

Sure was nice chatting with you folks on this board tonight, made the show just more enjoyable.

I won't be on on Saturday, because I'll be there. Listen for me, I'll yell "boatdrinks" real loud during one of the breaks.

Anon - You can't be more clear than "I'll make you a California promise ... I'll be back next year."

What a great show! I can't wait for Saturday night.

I like School Boy, but it isn't as deep and moving as some of the other stuff, more of a mid concert play IMHO.

Whole lid - I hope Jimmy reads this board or some of his folks do, your idea for Sweetheart with steel drums would be very cool.

He will be back! I'm glad. I hope he outlives me, my life would be much more empty without JB concerts to go to. My summer spiritual moment.

Jokerman and The Times they are a Changing are other good Bob Dylan choices. But Still think one of his old and less frequently played ones might be the call for the closer.

I agree with JB's Mexico being better than JT's. When he does mexico it makes me want to go back south of the border.

We will fix that "being into it" problem on Saturday. I'll promise that it will be rocking. I'll be there to lead the charge personally!
