Looks great, but $5 for shipping? :o I'd be happy with a $0.37 envelope. I was thinking the same thing about the shipping and was going to ask if maybe we could get a large order through bn or put one together, have them shipped to one person and then that person ship them out in a regular e...

Where did you buy the tickets from? Ticketmaster?

I'd be more than happy to pay that price for my husband and I if it put us on the floor. It's an absolute blast to be down there during a show!

The bracelets are cool, but I'd rather just donate straight to the Red Cross. The shipping is excessive for such a small and light object, but I understand that it's probably from some pre-set standard rate form and not variable. Yeah, pre-set rates set by the mailing/shipping companies. I figure I...

Considering what the bracelets are for, I'm more than willing to dish out a few bucks for shipping.

Course, I went ahead and bought 15 of these from the Key West store, which will probably have to close down cause of Hurricane Rita. Great timing. Hope my order doesn't get lost.

There's a shop here that sometimes does peanut butter bagels. It's basically a plain bagel with chunks of peanut butter in it. Sounds strange, but it is so darn good!

Oh yes! We were willing to pay the price for the presale tickets to ensure we'd see the show. When he was last at the Rose Garden, we bought tickets within the first 10 minutes of the regular sale for about 8 people and ended up high in the 300 level. It was ok, but just not the same. So we hit the...

BTW, any idea on ticket prices AFTER the pre-sale? How much, do you think, Portland tickets will be on Saturday when the regular sale starts?

We have a very active parrothead club here in Portland which, according to Bubba's directive is frequently involved with community charitable events. JB requires all clubs to perform a set number of charitable events to exist. Where was his commitment to these fans who work weekends in his name?? I...

A pet would be the last thing on my mind. Sorry, but Fido would get left behind to fend for himself. People come first. I agree. I know many people may think I'm mean, but I prefer realistic. Living in our house we have 5 immediate family members plus 1 best friend of my son's along with various sm...

The last time he was @ the Rose Garden, the RG wouldn't let us do a party, but one of the nearby hotels did. I'm sure the NW PH Club will have something going on again. Sorry, I forget the name of the hotel, but it should be announced with plenty of time. It was over by Lloyd Center Shopping Center.

The CUSTOMER is always RIGHT. That is the first thing you learn in the industry. If a customer wants a booth, and none are available, Yes they have to wait, but you GIVE them a booth. I worked in the food industry for over 9 years, 8 of those as a manager. Just remember, THE CUSTOMER is the one pro...

I always ask for a booth from the moment I walk in or make the reservation. But if they can't accomodate, I would never insist on it. I hate when customers are a-holes to the employees because they think they are entitled to something. I prefer booths because they're usually more comfortable & q...

"Victim"?!?! WTF? They refer to her as a 20 year old victim in the news article. She's not a victim. She did it to herself. She's a 20 year old dumba55. We had some chick do something similar at the Rose Garden here in Portland a couple years ago. She had some drinks, went outside to the s...
