The G.I. Joe's (Oregon sporting goods store) near our house plays Buffett all the time. You can get up to 3 songs in less than 1 hour in there. And a pretty good variety too.

I went to a Frank Zappa documentary at our local arts college, back in the late '90's. Of course, I can't recall the name of it, but it was very cool to see.

Zappa was an amazing, creative, smart, silly person.

I used to cheer for Biffle when he was just a wee lad racing at Portland Speedway. Met him many times cause I was good friends with some of the people that worked there. He's a really nice (somewhat quiet & shy) guy.

Yeah, and the coverage was so versatile.... The exact same video snippets of the actual artists on both MTV & VH1, but with different VJ's. And very choppy. You'd seldom hear a whole song before the VJ's came back on.

We referred to it as ADDTV.
