Re: Droid users... What are the cool apps you're using?
LG phones SU<K. I had a LG that had to be replaced twice within a year. The service tech told me that the majority of their "problem" phones were LG. If you want a Droid go with Motorola or HTC. Hmmm, thanks. Sprint doesn't seem to have Motorola, the HTC EVO is nice, just didn't want to s...

I've heard several people say Eminem's Recovery CD is really good. I'm really not a fan of rap, but I do like Eminem.LIPH wrote:I've heard the F You song (I have it on my iPod) and it's actually a pretty catchy tune. There's even a clean version, Forget You, that they play on the radio.

Re: Another reason to Microchip those furbabies!!
My boss' daughter found a dog last week. She took it to Petco to see if it had a chip. It did. They called the owner and she lost the dog just over a year ago. The dog is now back with the original owner. My boss's daughter went to the pound and rescued another. Everyone is happy! [smilie=gt-happyu...

Re: Droid users... What are the cool apps you're using?
I'll re-install Pandora when I get my new phone. And there was another app but I can't remember the name because I never re-installed it after I lost all my aps when phone was re-set right after Thanksgiving. You could hear a song and the app would tell you the name of the song. My son will be able ...

Re: Cooking Question -- Jumbalaya vs Gumbo
It's file gumbo. The file thickens it, you don't need okra to do that. File is the spice. It's from the sassafrass leaves dried and ground up. You can call the spice "file gumbo" but it's the okra that makes it gumbo. The okra is not used as a thickening agent for gumbo it's a primary ing...

Re: Droid users... What are the cool apps you're using?
I know this isn't an app but but does anyone use protection for their phone? You know, like a plastic screen cover or anything? I know one day I'm going to try to use my phone after eating bbq and I'm going to end up with the bbq flavored phone app. 8) :D I'm on my 3rd case. The first two were soft...

SeattleParrothead gave the best answer!! His gumbo sounds pretty good too. Back in the south instead of the fish and crab we added chicken breasts and Andouille sausage. If you can't find Andouille then a good polish type sausage works too.

Re: Droid users... What are the cool apps you're using?
Some apps will put a severe hurtin' on battery life, particularly if they need to frequently check GPS or other updates, so keep that in mind. Best to check comments on any apps before deciding to install. That said ..... Google Sky Map is perhaps too cool for words. Also, Advanced Task Killer is n...
