Grilled lamb loin chops, potato au gratin, fresh baby peas, grilled asparagus.
Washed down with "Small Acres" dry cider.
After grilling the very smoky chops (read that as they had a healthy amount of fat) all I can smell is the smoke, just sitting here enjoying the aroma.

Re: Ticket Prices
Except folks like Kid Rock, Pearl Jam, Green Day, the Black Crowes, etc. don't fit either of those two descriptions. You want to pay exorbitant ticket prices? Go right ahead. They may be few and far between but I'm more of a fan of actual artists than "entertainers" who are in it solely f...

Re: Ticket Prices
If Kid Rock can do it, Buffett can. Quite obviously, he choses not to. And yes, the story below is from last year but the principle still applies. Kid Rock is also not the first to take a stand against high ticket prices; Aerosmith, the Black Crowes, Green Day, R.E.M., Pearl Jam, etc. have all take...

Gawd, I haven't seen one of those for decades!!!! I am sure they have a nickname - you might be right about oil can. Although these days I think they are more likely to be called "for export" Hehe. KB is now long gone, and almost no one drinks Fosters here - It is so bad we send it overseas.

Big John went with him as a sherpa....... As long as I'm just carrying a 6-pack and a couple of sandwiches. :pirate: I don't know John -- you seem like more of a 24-pack guy to me [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif] 24 pack???? Pfffffft. Isn't a 30 can block standard? It is pretty much here. A quick Aussie la...

As I am working from home today, I just looked in the pantry and it looks like the ingredients are pointing towards "Road Smash and Mash".

Re: The Sochi Olympics thread
OK thanks...
It makes sense except that Canada kept sending the puck to the US end but didn't attack the open goal.
I guess they were in defending mode and didn't want to risk going forward being "a man down".

OK hockey fans...
Why did the US not have a goalie for the last minute or so in the semi against Canada?
(Clearly I am not that knowledgeable about hockey)

Re: Photo Op!!
Hi LIPH, May I make a constructive suggestion? When shoot wildlife and people, make sure you make the eye the point of focus. We naturally look at the eye and if the focus isn't there it can be disconcerting. :) I hope you don't mind I did an ever so quick edit to try and show what I meant. Egret Th...

Re: 2014 Tour Name
Or as is more likely, Siimonn, a marketing guru with a pony tail, an ear ring and who is ever so slightly camp, came up with it. This was after a particularly difficult morning at the record production company campus (they had run out of Ginger and Lemongrass Infused Oolong tea). I know it is fun to...

Re: Mardi Gras?
With the 'keet being a cheerleader @ the University of South Alabama I'll be doing the Mobile Mardi Gras this year since she is supposed to be in a couple of parades. Here are the only tips I can give you about your trip. 1) Don't buy the beads. Buying beads marks you instantly as a virgin. It won'...
