Re: Chicago 2014
I got two free tickets from a Live Nation contact the Wednesday before the show. I was about 15 rows from the back of the 204 dead center section and we had about 10 people in the entire row. The row behind us had 4 total and that seemed to be the trend looking forward for the 200 sections. Lawn, as...

Re: Alpine Valley 2014
If you get there early and are part of the buses that park on the left (facing facility) they tend to be much crazier of a time. The buses that go right (facing facility) are still a good time but are normally the late arrivals where people haven't had enough time to get in good shape. The group tha...

Re: Alpine Valley 2014
If anyone does Alpine this year it will be Buffett.
As Jimmy said "Man when the weather is good at Alpine it doesn't get any better!"
However, he ended it with "We'll see the next Alpine whenever that is...."

Re: Chicago 2014
Free tickets were only for shows last year at Alpine, Tinley or Northerly Island lawn shows that occurred after July 4th. I had to fight with LiveNation to get the code which I used to get Buffett Alpine tickets but all the other shows were pop shows at Tinley or Phish. Here's hoping for Toyota agai...

Re: Who's going to Alpine Valley - Aug 24, 2013
To the camper- There is a state park that I have camped at before that is about a 15 minute drive northeast of there. It is a first come first serve place so if you're going up early you will have a spot. About 30 spots available. We normally go up on Thursday before the show and there are usually a...

Re: Northerly Island, Chicago
A few quick notes: To the one who mentioned the ticket price including parking for Charter One, remember, they are expanding capacity from 7,500 to 30,000 this year. So I wouldn't count on that being true anymore because there isn't room for that many cars. Also, they say they are going to be done b...

Re: Northerly Island, Chicago
This show is just very inconvenient for anyone outside the city. Enjoy trying to drive to the show for those talking about it because parking is horrendous and can cost up to $60 for a spot anywhere close to Soldier Field (not Charter One). Plus, most Buffett fans would need to take the Metra (they ...

Re: Chicago!!!
Come on James! This is worse than FMBA!!! Once they announced the expansion I knew this was coming but was hoping it wouldn't! I think he's going to have a reeeaallllyyy hard time getting this place full since he couldn't half fill the hill at FMBA last year. This isn't a novelty location, it's a pa...

Re: Chicago!!!
If it's Charter One then I'll just do Alpine in August. The Buffett experience is all about tailgating first which is the majority of the fun (I love the music but how many time have we heard the same songs). I don't plan on "tailgating" at Margaritaville at Navy Pier at $8.50 for an 8 oz....

Re: Chicago!!!
I would think everyone that is complaining about the lack of an announcement would be used to it by now. The same thing happens year after year! In years past he has at least announced by now. I looked and in the last 3 years I've already paid for tickets at this point. It's never gone this late. P...

Re: Chicago!!!
I think Soldier Field would be great for inside the stadium experience but I think the parking lots are wwwaaaaayyyy to small to handle the volume of tailgating for Jimmy. My bet is still on June 29th even though FMBA just announced Rush for June 28th. That would be quite the weekend as you can't mi...

Re: Chicago!!!
I put a grid together and there are not many Saturday night options left for the Chicago show. Here is what I have as options based on availability: Toyota - Only July 27th - all other dates either have shows or not enough time for a stage setup. Plus, Lollapalooza would cancel out August 3rd. First...

NO Happy Hour Intro
Does anyone know the name of the song played at the beginning of the NO Happy Hour? I think it is a horn version of saints go marching in but not sure.
I am making a JB power hour mix and want to use that as my opener.
