Re: "It ain't his goodest one."

this album rates as one of his worst for me. although there are a few good songs on it, it just seems like he and the band were a little out of gas. you can't win 'em all~!its also after this point where more cover songs begin to surface on the albums.

Re: Beginning of the End?

If he's hanging on so he can keep pimpin' the brand, maybe he should retire. I think the music has suffered with the concentration on all the business ventures. The concerts are still fun but let's be serious, how many really good songs has he written in the last, say, 5 years? He's in danger of be...

im going to be diplomatic, but really to me all of them are awesome in their own unique way. the first one i bought was feeding frenzy and that album really got me hooked and then when i got you had to be there i understood more of what jb was all about. tuesdays, thursdays, saturdays is great because...

Re: Would You Like to See Mac's New Song on the Tour?

it was cool when jimmy and mac used to do the acoustic set after intermission. i always thought it would be a good idea to do 2 acoustic numbers from each decade that way you would hear some real diversity. the other thing is, it would be nice if club trini did an hour or so opening set where all th...

Re: Songs Buffett Needs to Retire From the Live Shows

if he only dropped cover songs from the setlist he could still play the majority of the yellow album if not all of it and still have plenty of room for more obscure songs and it would please the majority of his fans both old and new. i dont expect to go to any artists show and not hear their standar...

Re: Jimmy's Still Doing the Rhumba, Baby!!

I liked Jimmy's version. I had heard it before, but I don't know which version, and I can't quite remember exactly where. I absolutely LOVED the concert last night. I can't quite place my finger on it, but it seemed to have more energy and fun than they've had the last couple years. I'm also glad R...

Bascially this is the list of songs Jimmy has had a hand in writing this decade (post Beach House on the Moon). I thought it was intersting to see. feel free to correct if i have missed anything 1. Autour De Rocher 2. Last Man Standing 3. What If The Hokey-Pokey Is All It Really Is About? 4. Altered...

Am I the only one who's not excited about hearing new songs on this tour? i guess it depends if i like them or not. overall its always nicer hearing rare gems than new material. As long as they're better than We're Still Here (which honestly wouldn't be hard to do) then I'm all for it. When folks s...

i also agree. it seems to me that starting in the mid to late 90's he started shouting more. if you compare feeding frenzy with tuesdays, thursdays, saturdays its clearly obvious.both are great live albums but vocally speaking he is better on feeding frenzy. the anguilla cds are great because there ...
