The accountant in charge of HR at the last company I worked for ALWAYS did that- you could never tell if the lunch truck was outside or if it was something that genuinely needed attention.

Re: E-mail etiquette
I've gotten that one time earlier this month from a friend, and it struck me as odd. Maybe it's some new trend. It was like: "When is our next book club meeting and what book did we decide to read?" I replied, changing the subject line to Book Club. I don't think it would bother me if it w...

It's something you can hold in your hand. I have something which could be held in my hand....but I don't think any man could be without one, so the answer would have to be 50% not 46% :o Statistically, there are more women in the world than men. Also, maybe some women couldn't live without on...

Re: Problem with your peanut butter
Yeah this is not a good thing for this area of Georgia either, if people stop eating peanut butter. :( We had the Peter Pan salmonella problem in Sylvester 10 miles up the road about a year ago. Tifton has a big storage facility for peanuts that supplies about a third of the peanuts for Peanut M&...

SOOOO happy for the both of you. Orange cats are special, just ask my Oliver. When my daughter walked in the door with him in a box 8 years ago, I couldn't see him, but knew it was another animal she had rescued. I said, "No, turn around and take it back". And she replied, "Mom, he's...

8) 8) anyone know where Tim is from??? I think he's from Idaho .... is the name familiar? Seems like we had that discussion when we met him last year, but I've slept since then. I'll ask Danny when he gets home from the store. Here's his picture: http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h141/ljm58/812jpg....

Re: Heron House, Harbor Inn, or La Pensione?
Wow, thank you for the great information everyone. Unfortunately, Le Pensione just emailed me and they do not have a room available for one of the nights we will be there, so Le Pensione is out... Jack, by looking at a map, it looks like Key West Harbor Inn is not really in the middle of everything...

Re: What plans do you have for the Inauguration?
I'll be watching it on TV. There's a party that night at one of the few bars here in town. Don't know if I'll go to that or not. A movie theater in a town near here is showing the TV broadcast on the big screen. I think that's pretty cool.

My orange cat looks just like Simba, and as a kitten he looked like the young Simba. But son wanted to name him Sylvester, go figure. So we call him Sylvester Simba.
Compared to that Mofo/Mufasa is a fine name!

I haven't felt like exercising for over a week because of my foot -- plantar fasciitis -- so I am glad to say I did 30 minutes of a Gilad Strength and Tone workout. Mostly arms, chest and back with some legs. Welcome, Brad!!! Skiing sounds great, Jack!!! Good job lasting 2 1/2 hrs. It has been about...
