I'm 8 months pregnant, and that cracked me up....especially the part about driving to the hospital hoping to get pulled over for speeding. That's exactly the kind of thing my husband would think of.

I'm a Cake fan. Their music is different--it's not for everyone. Sometimes it can be downright strange, but that's what I like about it. They've had success with a few other songs, such as "Never There," "The Distance," and "How Do You Afford Your Rock N Roll Lifestyle?"...

Just wanted to post an update--we got the call that my husband's grandmother passed away last night, so we'll have our second funeral in as many weeks this weekend. Unfortunately, no. The concert is way too close to my due date. But what an interesting story my son would have if he were born at a JB concert! Maybe I should consider going.....

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers for me and my family. Everything with the funeral went well, and my dad seems to be holding up OK. It was nice to see all the family, but it is a shame that we only seem to get together under these kinds of circumstances.
