too bad there is not a no fax registery....someone is convinced that my no. is a fax line and likes to wake me up @ 3:00 a.m. actually, the registry may apply to fax machines-I just could not get an answer to that question anywhere. Since the solicitaitons have stopped, maybe it did work!

I paid $15.09 online--Books A Million's website, if you have one of their discount cards (which is $10 a year, and I buy a lot of books!) is usually the cheapest, and offers free shipping on orders over $25.

But I do use Amazon a lot too, and we do need to support phjim!

I get maybe one every three or four months and it's generally from a charity that I have given to in the past. I signed up on the national do not call list when it first became available and it's WONDERFUL! I did too-I since you could register 3 numbers, why not? I also registered the number for my...

Schooner-one of the papers said that this would be the first "on its own" concert at Wrigley Field. I was at the Born in the USA Springsteen tour in '85 (at least I think that was the one I was at-that seems right!) and it was at Soldier Field with no reserved seating.

Schooner-I think this would be the first ever-I don't recall any before this-there have been a few at Comiskey/US Cellular, and lots at Soldier Field but not Wrigley. All the stations had the story on the news tonight though clearly the surrounding community would be an issue (as it was for Fenway)....

Well, it just aired in Chicago-he seemed to struggle through a lot of the game. The audience gasped when they saw his answer.

Well, kudos to Ken Jennings-he made it exciting and I can't imagine that record being broken.

There were rumors that Wrigley people were checking out the Fenway show, so there have been a few rumors for a while.

Wrigley Field is one of my favorite places on earth-how cool would that be!

It won't be the same without him!

The money was impressive, and I would be thrilled with it, but the number of wins is much more impressive to me---to win that game that many times is amazing!

If reports are correct he losses on his 75th show.
I'm pretty sure that the episode that aired in Chicago was his 74th, which would make Tuesday the day here.
