Wheatsailor got his local parrothead club to raffle off an extra copy of the cookbook, and they raised $82. Jim pitched in some extra to make an even $100, and I received the check today. Thank you wheatsailor and Central KS Parrotheads!

The Seewee Restaurant is way across town from Kiawah, but that's an awesome place for some good home cooking.

At lunch I took Vicki some more cookbooks for her to sell. To my surprise, she gave me checks for a few more she had already sold.

Today we made vickster's peach glazed ham and vegetable casserole. It made for an awesome Christmas dinner. I've never been much of a cook but I think I'm starting to get the hang of this. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

For the record, Christmas Eve is probably the best day of the year to go to the post office. I was there for a good hour this morning, and maybe 5 people came in the whole time.
