The value of a ticket is whatever a willing buyer will pay for it. If tickets are not underpriced how come every listing on ebay or a broker is for an amount above face value? The reason is people will pay the higher price. Also, while I agree brokers & agencies eat up a chunk of the tickets, I ...

It seems to me tickets are underpriced if anything. 35,000 capacity shows are selling out in 10 minutes. It doesn't seem like too many people have too big a problem with the prices. Also, like or not front row Buffett tickets are worth way more than the $80-$100 face value of the tickets. If people ...

Yeah Fins, I read your story - that's too bad. But I think it would be very interesting to see how many of those tickets are available to those lucky enough to be 1st in line somewhere. I realize Alpine has some reserved for season pass holders, but it's unclear how many that actually is.

Brian - maybe you can answer a question many people around here, including myself, seem to have. How many pavillion seats are actually available to the general public? Last year I got through via the internet almost immediately & ended up in 203, Row ZZ. This year it's 201, Row VV. Don't get me ...

Chu - I heard your step-dad on the radio the other day. Congrats to him, he sounded pretty pumped. I also fell short, but I will be heading over anyway. You never know. Also it seems you can hear pretty good from out on the sidewalk & since the front doors are glass garage style maybe we'll even...

That is true & actually whatever is paid over the $100 fair market value (as determined by who?) is tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Therefore Uncle Sam is actually helping some people see Buffett - who'd of thought. I ate there Saturday night at some kind of training thing. A little...

A radio station was auctioning off a pair of tickets last night at CIP so I stopped by mainly out of curiosity, but also cause you never know. Anyway my hopes were quickly dashed & I headed out when the bidding reached $3,200 with a couple guys still going back & forth. A little scary to see...

I've also had no luck. I've been calling in about 5 times/day to the different stations & so far I haven't even heard a ring yet.

Gotta stay positive, still have a week to go - Good Luck to everyone else!

Unfortunately I won't be at Great Woods this weekend, but I hope (& am sure) everyone will have a great time. Since I've never been to this facility I can't say everthing "you won't see" is not accurate, however I find it hard to believe that with 20,000 plus people assembled in a comm...

As long as we're picking additional WI locations for JB, I'm voting for Camp Randall. Hasn't been a show there in years, one's due. Also Jimmy in Madtown, forget about it!

Actually they got to shoot it off last year after all the hoopla which amounted to a moral victory. Of course when you get trounced 34-17 moral victories are all you have.
