Re: An interesting article about filming hawks in Boston

what a terrific hobby to ease tension @ work. I love red tails, but I love all hawks.

We had the good fortune to see a swallow tail kite a couple of weeks ago.

I hope the story has a very happy ending and a pair re-nest!

thanks for sharing...

Re: Hot Dogs

just depends the kinds of mood I'm in, but almost always with onions and mustard, as a genereal rule, simple, exotic would mean jalapenos.

and they don't even have to be all beef, I never read the ingredients, anyway!

best not to read the label, even if it says all beef.

Re: The rare Parrot Flower of Thailand

I first saw it some years ago...don't count on it being available. It has been around for a while and hasn't been offered by any specialty hortoculturists, that I know of. could be circulating underground, I seriously doubt it and you'll know why if you read the entire article and take some of the l...

Re: Tornado chasers

To quote my nephew, who IS a tornado chaser, works for the NWS, a research scientist at the University of Oklahoma Meteorolgy Dept, the movie was a crock. He HATES that movie. the NWS site located in Norman, OK is one of the most sophisticated operations in this country. They monitor and pred...

OK.. So as a former scalper let’s see who wins, who loses, Where this will work, where it will not work and.. Who is going to benefit. First off.. It WILL help Miley fans.. And Jonas Brothers The “one and done” concerts.. (This is not a knock on the artists I will explain the term) The “one and don...

Re: Not happy about the canceled West Coast Dates!

What did I start? I didn't mean for it to be the thread of forever! I just wanted to say I wasn't happy about the canceled dates on the West Coast. I am glad however that everyone jumped unboard! Well i think it stinks that the dates got cancelled and feel bad for everyone out there that won...

Re: WHich would you rather drive?

Isn't it made by Mercedes-Benz, or at least they've put their tag on it...I saw one parked outside the Dr's office Friday morning. sharp looking for what it is. I'd almost rather drive one than some of the SUV's I see, those would be like herding a tank around. I have an SUV, older one, GMC Jimmy, g...

Re: Not happy about the canceled West Coast Dates!

I have no doubt Jimmy cares about his fan base. Keep in mind we're fans, but we're also what is known as a particular "Niche Group" There are still a lot of people out in the world who have no idea who Jimmy Buffett is until they hear Margaritaville or Come Monday and then they remember or have hea...

Look on the brightside Delaware.....you have 2 Nascar dates my mom lives 12 miles from the track, and has for 6 years....and I haven't gone. I'm an idiot. And honestly to answer someone else's post, the train station, while nice, is not nearly as impressive as some others. I've only been in a coupl...

Re: Not happy about the canceled West Coast Dates!

I think you've over estimated your worth to Buffett...maybe some with a much smaller fan base should worry.. perhaps Buffett wouldn't mind losing some of his fan base? hence, his interest in the Miami Dolphins. He is a Florida boy @ heart....Obviously, he prefers smaller venues in London and Paris ...
