I'm no expert in economics..and maybe my views are to simple...but perhaps we need to look at ourselves as being partially responsible for this mess. Let me explain...we (Americans) are driven by having things bigger and better then what our parent had, what our neighbors have, etc. We use credit c...

They p*** down our backs and try to tell us it's raining. It looks like you've figured out the concept of TRICKLE-DOWN economics that have been the hallmark of these Reagan Republicans. Problem is... this last week's dose came down on us like a d*m bursting. :x :x :x Just curious, LB, you're...

Her (their?) 2007 tax return was just released...income of $166,000... certainly not what I'd call middle income; however, I know a lot of two income households that have income in that very range. I dunno, I kinda think she's laid back and appears to connect with her children/family quite well. Wh...

I'm probably the only one that's having problems with her trying to make herself out to be a middle American. She's not a middle American woman. A middle American woman does not wear and spend the money on clothes she does. Thank you, nor can Middle Class women buy a $500 pair glasses I've seen her...

I enjoyed every episode...

if you're not a regular of his Good Eats program, also on the Food Network you should try and catch it sometime.

some of the segments are more interesting than others; however, I find them entertaining and very informative.

I'm sure ya'll know he does Iron Chef, too.

Re: Why do people rat themselves out

I have been involved with several different chat boards over the last several years so my sense of things is not that of someone new this style of communicating but rather someone with some experience. In that experience I have always found it odd how much some folks divulge about themselves. I gue...

I'm no fan of Couric, but she was very diplomatic with Palin, she handled Palin's apparent lack of knowledge regarding her running mate with eloquence, I don't think some reporters would have afforded her. I missed the interview, but I find that hard to believe. Couric had a tendency to sneer whene...
