A number of years ago I was 6 months pregnant (but looked like I was 12 mo. pregnant) at the show in KC. Not only was I a blimp in a Hawaiian shirt dancing like a fool on the lawn, I was *gasp* SOBER.

Yeah, my first inservice day is tomorrow as well. Funny, as kids we assumed the teachers just lived for school. My own kids are laughing at my whining, and my hubby has no pity after a few months off. Oh well, it was a good summer.

Thanks for the help, everyone! I've been offline a few days, so I missed all the fun. There's some stuff in there I can use, and the rest is just an internal giggle for me. Since it is a Catholic school, I suppose I should avoid the "Religion's in the hands of some crazy ass people," eh? G...

Yikes! School is about to start up again. I wanted to have a 'quote of the day' up in my middle school classroom, but I'm tired of the stodgy old ones I see. I was thinking more along the lines of, "Fast enough to get there...". Any suggestions of words of wisdom from JB or others that mid...

Be careful though...My ringtone is "Volcano", and I have a tendency to listen to the song, rather than pick up right away. My kids love it, though, and I always know when it's my phone ringing!

So, will we get a full show in Dallas, or will it be abbreviated b/c of the other folks? I really want to take my daughter to her inagural show, but I want to make it a good one.
