Passport services can turn a passport around in about 72 hours. If you have the time and inclination you can actually go to the Passport Bureau and walk through to get it. It can take up to 8 hours of standing in line but it can be done.

I'm pushing 60 shows. I've been seeing Jimmy perform every year since 1978 and have averaged between two and three shows a year. I don't have all the ticket stubs since my ex trashed them during the divorce.

American got smart and pulled out a row or two of seats to give extra legroom but I don't fly them unless I have to. I can't seem to get anywere direct on AA from my usual departure airports. And I don't know if that leg room change was made on their international flights as well. Pretty much every...

When I was six or seven my family stayed on Tybee Island. The beach was okay, the surf was mild and there wasn't much to keep me interested. I'm sure that things have changed in the last 30+ years.

Best Friends is a wonderful organization and deserves all the support it can get. Two of my three cats come from there, as does one of my dogs. Utah has a license plate to help support them, which is what is on my Jeep.

When I found Jimmy Buffett

It was a dark and stormy night and I was driving down a rutted track leading through what had to be the biggest swamp in South Florida when before my eyes appeared Jimmy Buffett! Oh wait, you don't mean like that, you mean how did I become a big time fan. Well, it was a long time ago in a galaxy far...

I wish you would post this on the Off Topic forum as well. I completely agree with you that sniping at one another gets old fast. I wholeheartedly support the idea of having fun at a Buffett show or anywhere else for that matter and if your idea of having fun is getting blitzed, go for it. Just remember not to get in the car if you've been drinking. As others have pointed out you may get a DUI or worse yet you may ruin your li...
