Wow--I certainly support the effort to raise money for the leukemia lymphoma society, however, I believe "WWJBD" is a little over the line. And no, my objection has nothing to do with it being a spin off of "WWJD". At what point does a passion become an obsession ? A passion becomes an obsession wh...

I listen to a pretty wide variety of music and it would take all day to list all of the people I like but I think the artist who speaks to me and whoinspires me the most is Randy Stonehill. If you haven't heard him, you've got to check him out. I guess the runner up would be Buddy Miller. Your Love...

Who Else?

Who else "speaks" to you through their music..... Not just an artist you like to listen to, but someone that really touches something inside you..... The Jim Croce thread got me thinking..... Mine is definately Jim Croce and Dan Fogelberg. Being raised in the mountains and feeling as passionately ab...

Over all there are at least 27 songs I know of that mention Jimmy or his music or parrotheads. I have been collecting them and have all but 3 that I know of. I have already burned one cd with 14 of them on it and when I get the other 3 I will burn disc 2. http://www.buffettnews.com/forum/viewtopic....

Thanks for the info.....

I was thumbing through it at the office today....doing the standard..."Nope, don't know him" Nope, don't know them" and then had to shriek "It's Jimmy Buffett in Rolling Stone".....and all the youngsters said, "Nope, don't know him...."
Their loss.....Marilyn Manso will never stand the test of time!!

I'm not a smoker and never have smoked----because I am an asthmatic. Sorry to be so preachy, but some of us have problems and can't help it. He might have been one of those people, too. Even if he had health issues related to smoking....could have handled it a lot better...."WWJBD"..... I'm sure a ...

And the casual fans vs true fans is always a slippery slope. I didn't go to my first Buffett show until 94 and honestly, I went for the party. Does that mean that I shouldn't have been allowed to go? Or that I'm STILL not a true fan? I'm new to this great phlock.....have been sticking a fin in the ...
