Maybe this will get me a huge "DUH!", I don't know. But I was thinking about why they wait to announce the Las Vegas dates and thinking about how Jimmy said at last year's show that LV shows are mostly out-of-towners. :-? Well...one of the reasons for that is that there are a lot of place...

At the time of MOTM, I seem to recall that sunset is 5:45-5:50 PM standard time. Since we'll be on Daylight Time this year for a change (new DST rules), I'd expect it'll therefore be an hour later.

Well......hummmmmmmm, having never been to MOTM before, maybe I don't know enough to be disappointed that the Coral Reefers won't be there. What I do know is, parrotheads are typically the friendliest, most outrageous, most fun people I've ever met. And as much as I love seeing JB in concert, the ta...

I'll agree I have gotten into areas that I have no direct knowledge and should not make accusations without knowing the whole story. With that said let's look a few facts. 1. MOTM encourages everyone to sign up early or risk getting shut out. 2. I would not have bought airline tickets, paid for the...

How many rounds fired through it? Price seems a bit steep to me. The guy that is offering it for sale has only fired about 50 rounds thru it. He's only had it for a couple of weeks but just got his carry permit and it's too big to carry so he's offering it to a friend. "I swear, it was used by...

Unfortunately, I don't think it's accurate, because I don't think she could find her a$$ with both hands and a search engine.

I've had that happen to me a few times. Worst was a year or so back, playing at a restaurant/bar in the Sacramento Delta. There were these huge green bugs being blown past me on the wind. One went right down the wrong pipe. I was coughing for a while from that, but managed to keep the show going.

I am, for better or worse, reminded of the following story. Cowboy rides into town and ties up outside the local saloon. As he's about to head in, he notices another, rugged-looking individual, step around to the back of his horse, raise the horse's tail, and kiss the horse squarely on its nether li...

Actually, MOTM is a great time to be able to get close to and chat with various of the Reefers. Not only are they fairly accessible in the backstage areas before & after their performances, but they'll occasionally turn up at Louie's Afterdeck at night or wander around the Casa during the day - ...

Live albums are good for this sort of thing. Jim Morris does several medleys like this on Trolling for Mermaids . Emerson, Lake, & Palmer have a medley of "America," "Fanfare for the Common Man," and "Rondo 69" on their last live album, released around 1992ish. It r...

Anybody else having trouble with airlines, getting into Key West for MOTM ? I have. They changed my reservation to a flight where I'd be getting into Key WEst at 9 a FRI...
